Kara and Steven chose the iconic Rockefeller property in Vermont as the getaway wedding weekend for their largely NYC crowed. We started the wedding weekend at Simon Pearce where guests could watch glass blowers at work while sipping their welcome cocktails. The next day, Kara and Steven tied the knot at the Woodstock Inn’s Kelly Way Garden, a picturesque barn setting. Guests were then shuttled to the lawn in front of of the inn, for a cocktail hour before heading to the inn’s courtyard for the tented reception. Kara had seen hanging greenery many times at her friend’s weddings, so we design an installation of oversized lanterns and brought in a big pop of color on the tables. It was the perfect night up north.
