Tori and Jay’s wedding design drew inspiration from the style of a whimsical English garden. Think lots of wicker, rambling blooms, scalloped edges, playful fonts and custom watercolors. The couple wanted the day to feel elegant and elevated, yet also have a touch of childlike whimsy.
Tori and Jay love the Mayflower’s well known and beautiful aesthetic, so we decided to draw inspiration from the recent Celerie Kemble remodel of the historic Inn. Tori loves verdant shades of green, which made the Mayflower’s main restaurant room feel like the obvious and greatest source of inspiration for our vendor team. Working very closely with Lauren from Sarah Worden Natural Design, we took the restaurant’s buttercup yellow walls, the lush green plants and the wicker chairs as inspiration from the restaurant and transformed it into a gorgeous reception under a tent by the Shakespeare Garden.
